PAPERMAXX
I'm a UFC nut, so I built an MMA prediction platform to beat my friends on. I use it every day, so I add something to it every day.
- Wildest failure: infinite money glitches. I put a bounty out for my coworkers to find them, then built a trigger-based audit ledger and migrated live balances with a snapshot-backed rollback plan.
- Built a halal mode for one friend. Little user-specific things a bigger company would never do.
- The AI forecast engine runs Claude on Amazon Bedrock. Its first predictions were really silly.
- Traced 91% of 84k Lambda invocations to server rendering, then added caching: fight pages went from 357-661 ms to 200-324 ms.
- Took mobile LCP from 6-7 s to about 2 s. The part I like most is still the ingestion pipeline.

OPEN SOURCE CLIMBING
My team needed tools, so I built them. A training app and installable PWA, where the coaching and the code meet.
- In active use by the VCU Climbing team and another coach, including our practice-day plans.
- Lead developer. Row-level security for athlete, coach, and admin roles.
- Taught a junior developer to code and mentored them on the project.

ECHO MINI
Modding the Snowsky Echo Mini's firmware, because a music player should feel like yours.
- Wrote my own firmware tooling and put a custom theme on my unit.
- Raised the clock floor once and got a blank gray screen. Confirmed the cause. That setting stays alone now.
- Built getmusic and syncmusic: tagged downloads with album art, then a hash-verified mirror to the player.

ALARM APP
I needed a better alarm. Expo could not do real iOS alarms, the library was not good enough, and I did not want to write the Swift.
- Shelved, not dead. I might go back soon.
